Rossville, TN is one of the oldest towns of Fayette County, and is located just 5 miles from Hwy 385 and I-69. Rossville is just 7 miles to the east of Collierville and 30 miles from the Memphis International Airport. With its beginning as a village named La Fayette, many of the buildings still in Rossville were built in the mid-to-late 1800s. The town was renamed Rossville when it was incorporated in 1903 after one of the early settlers (Thomas M. Ross) who donated the site of Rossville.
